About Dawn

I have worn many different hats in the real estate business, and each one has given me a greater understanding of how real estate can make people’s financial dreams come true. It’s said the average networth of a homeowner is 30 times greater than of a renter (Federal Reserve Bulletin, June 2012), and I have seen that in action. I started off selling new homes in Lake Hogan Farms in Chapel Hill. I watched people’s homes appreciate in value before my eyes. Lake Hogan Farms sold out, and I started selling in Highcroft in Cary during the real estate boom of the mid 2000’s. People were buying $400k + homes there in cash from the equity gained from the sale of their West Coast homes. Something clicked in my young mind, and I knew real estate was the path to wealth.

I bought two investment properties with my parents in 2004, another on my own in 2006, and my last one in 2012. With three investment properties under my belt in 2010, I knew I was onto something. Everything had been going well with them, and I knew I could take my successful investment property philosophy and help other owners manage their properties. I started Trailwood Realty, and have been steadily increasing my client base through referrals. I’m proud to have made a good impression on my clients, and I’m happy to serve their investment needs.

I continued helping people buy and sell homes along with providing services to investors. I love closing day when a seller I’ve been working with is able to finally move on. Sometimes, it’s a buyer who is able to breathe a sigh of relief once the loan finally closes. Helping people find success in the many paths of real estate is my passion!

Terese Pham

Owner/Property Manager

About Terese

I am originally from Los Angeles, California and relocated to the Raleigh/Durham area in 2007 and fell in love with the place!

I bought my very first house when I was 23 years old. Being able to buy something that would potentially appreciate in value instead of depreciating always had me gravitating towards real estate. My first property was a multi-family that allowed me to live in one unit and rent out the other two. I didn’t even know what house hacking was back then, but I thought it would be great if someone else could help me pay my mortgage! This experience gave me a glimpse into what I wanted for my future – buying homes as an investment while working towards my retirement. I obtained my real estate license back in 2010 and have been buying and selling real estate for myself and others since! I currently own single family homes in the Triangle and started investing in the Fayetteville area as well.

Whether it be buying, selling or investing in real estate, I want to help others make the best decision that they can about one of the biggest investments of their lives!

Victor Vargas

Real Estate Broker/Assistant Property Manager

About Victor

Coming from a background where owning your own home seemed almost impossible, it motivated me to become a homeowner myself, even at a young age. I’ve lived throughout various parts of the Triangle area for over twenty years and have come to love it here, so I knew this was where I wanted to plant roots.
Before having my real estate license I worked as a restaurant manager for a couple of years, which taught me many skills that I find useful in property management. I was able to use my knowledge and buy my own home at just 21 years old by combining the managing experience and receiving my real estate license at the age of 20,
Buying my first home gave me the confidence to pursue my passion of helping others do the same. Now, I have the opportunity to help other people reach their goals whether it is buying their first home or investing in real estate.

North Carolina native and resident of Raleigh for nearly 20 years.  I offer 13 years of personal real estate experience and over 10 years as a professional operations leader with experience developing and deploying successful strategies for demanding clients. These skills translate perfectly to the real estate needs of my clients. I have learned that taking time to listen, though often overlooked, is of the most value when working toward success.

I am committed to making my clients home buying, selling and asset management a priority. Hiring a real estate professional should not be an afterthought. I can provide value in multiple forms, with TIME being the most important.  Though I do live and work mostly here in Raleigh-Durham, Fayetteville calls my attention quite often with its steady rental population and abundance of investment opportunities.  Feel free to ask me about my latest find or send me on a hunt of your own design!

When away from clients and personal real estate endeavors I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melissa, who is also a licensed NC real estate agent, and our daughter, Lorelai. Our family stretches across beautiful North Carolina, which provides me with a unique familiarity and perspective of our state.

About Melissa

I’m a native of Fayetteville, NC, but I have called both Raleigh and NYC home over the past 20 years. Living in such vastly different real estate markets, working for a Raleigh area home builder, working for the NC Real Estate Commission, and completing Meredith College’s Paralegal program with a concentration in real estate has given me a unique perspective. I stumbled upon the real estate industry as a profession by accident but quickly knew that it would always be a part of my professional life in one way or another.

Having graduated from Peace College with a B.A. in Communications and with eight years of project leadership, process improvement, and client relations experience I understand the importance of adhering to a timeline, staying organized, and paying attention to the details.  Communication matters and I am committed to making every transaction as smooth and seamless as possible.

I have a devotion to God, my husband, Bobby, who is also a licensed NC real estate agent, our sweet daughter, Lorelai, and our community.  We have lived in a fantastic neighborhood for almost 10 years and my hope is that I can assist my clients in finding their next wonderful place to call home too!
